In Acts 2:42-47, the Bible describes how the Holy Spirit started the church, and what happened to them as it began. The church started in smaller groups of people who got together to study God’s word, pray, worship God, help each other, and eat. This model is the basis for our HomeTeams at Creekside.

Three times a year we encourage people to join a HomeTeam for 10-12 weeks to “share life” with a group of people. This kind of group is vital to the spiritual growth and development of a Christ-follower. We are not meant to do this alone. Within each HomeTeam you will find opportunities to grow in your connection with God through:

  1. Studying God’s word together
  2. Sharing life with others through conversation and discussion
  3. Praying for and with each other
  4. Serving others together
If you are a believer or are trying to figure out what that looks like, we encourage you to sign up and participate in a HomeTeam.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.” – Hebrews 10:24-25
